Into the Wilderness was founded by Justin and Sandra Gavin, a family deeply rooted in the beautiful Chelan Valley. After seeing more and more inexperienced but good-hearted people traveling to and exploring the wilderness, they decided to start a company that would assist beginners to experts in educating and training them in all aspects related to backcountry backpacking and wilderness survival. They believe through education and comprehensive training they can empower people to safely experience the wonders of nature and the great outdoors. At the same time instilling a profound respect and appreciation for the wilderness, ensuring that every adventurer is equipped with the knowledge and skills to embark on safe and unforgettable journey.
